Add a listing
  1. Clicking on the "Sell" link on the top navigation or the same link in the Selling Controls panel (if you are logged in) will bring you to the sneaker listing form.
  2. Fill out all of the fields on the listing form. We encourage that you provide as much information as you can since it can limit the amount of time to a sale.You must include at least one photograph of the pair you are selling.
Edit a listing
  1. Click on "My Current Listings" link on the Sellers Control Panel.
  2. Click on "Edit Listing" on the one that you want to change.
  3. Modify the fields that you want to change and click Submit.
Delete a listing You can remove a listing at anytime, however, keep in mind that once you delete a listing, all of the message threads opened for that listing will be removed. All of the shoppers that you have been engaging in will receive a notice about this deletion. Deleting a listing is permanent! If you want that listing to appear in our catalog again, it will have to be re-listed.

To delete a listing:
  1. Click on the My Current Listings link on the Selling Controls panel.
  2. Find the listing you want to delete and click on "Delete Listing".
Using the Tracking Sheet feature The Tracking Sheet feature allows you to keep tabs on the listings that you find most interesting and want to save for later. Think of it as bookmarking it or putting it on your watch list.

To track a listing, simply click on the "Track Listing" button on the listing that you want to track.

To view your tracked listings, click on "My Tracking Sheet" on your shopping control panel under "Account". From there you can immediately contact the seller or stop tracking the listing.
Interaction between buyer and seller Sneakerlisting introduces an interaction model never before seen on other sneaker trading websites, all while in a format that our users are accustomed to.

While the message thread is private and accessible only to the seller and shopper, much like on social networking sites, messages between the buyer and seller is posted on to a shared panel, displaying the open dialog. E-mail notification is in place to alert all sellers and shoppers of new messages.

Sales Center - The place where sellers access messages that shoppers post for each of their listings. When shoppers click on "Contact Seller", this is where their message is posted.

  1. To access your Sales Center, click on the "Sales Center" link on the Selling Controls panel
  2. Once there, select the listing that you want to view messages on with the drop-down menu.
  3. For each of the listings, you will be able to access the message threads between you an all of the shoppers that contacted you. For each thread, you can do three actions.
    • Read or write new messages to the thread
    • Delete the thread between you and the shopper if you no longer want to deal with that shopper
    • Select the shopper as the buyer for that listing. All other active threads for that listing will be locked.
  4. For the listings that you have already selected a buyer for, a star icon will appear. Clicking on the star for the listing will take you to a rating page where you can rate the buyer's performance. Sneakerlisting encourages good buyer etiquette as well as seller performance.
Shopping Panel - The place where shoppers share messages with sellers when they are interested in a listing. When shoppers click on "Contact Seller", this is where their message is posted.

  1. To access your Shopping Panel, click on the "Shopping Panel" link on the Shopping Controls panel
  2. For each listing whose seller you have contacted, a message thread will appear on the shopping panel. For each one, there will be several actions that you can perform
    • Read or write new messages to the thread
    • Delete the thread between you and the seller if you are no longer interested in buying the pair(s) from this seller
  3. If you are selected by the seller as the buyer of their listing, you will have a star icon lit-up for that listing. Clicking on the star icon will take you to a page where you can rate the seller's performance on this transaction. We encourage you do so as it helps build the credibility of this seller.
Rate and review Sneakerlisting allows buyers and sellers to rate one another after each transaction. Only the buyers and sellers who have engaged each other through a listing can rate. For example, as a shopper, the only way I can rate a seller is if I was once selected as the buyer for a listing by that seller. Same goes for the seller, the only way he can rate me as a buyer is if I have been selected by him as the buyer for one of his listings. This ensures the integrity of the rating system and prevents false and random ratings.

How it works for buyers - A seller of a particular listing can have multiple message threads active at the same time, given them the opportunity to feild interest from different people. If you have been selected as the buyer for the listing, you will immediately see a lit-up star icon on that listing in your Shopping Panel. Clicking on that icon will take you to a rating page where you can rate the seller and also submit a breif review on his/her performance for this specific transaction. There is a guide on the rating page to remind you of some of the things you should think of when rating someone.

How it works for sellers- Not only do we value the reviews of sellers from buyers, Sneakerlisting is also concerned about buyer-etiquette. As a seller, once you have selected a buyer, you will see lit-up star icon on that listing in your Sales Center. There you will be able to submit a rating and review on the performance of the buyer for transaction of that specific listing.

The rating and review system is an extremely useful tool for sneaker collectors. When authenticity is the name of the game, this is our way of helping the community in weeding out those who sell fakes. Your average rating will be displayed next to your name on every listing you post, and clicking on your name will take you to your complete history where everyone can see your past reviews. Hence, your rating shows the world your credibility as sneaker trader.
